What is COD3X?
COD3X is an AI trading terminal for perpetual futures. Users configure AI agents that analyze markets and execute trades autonomously based on defined parameters and goals.
Do I need coding skills?
No. Configuration uses natural language chat and visual interfaces. Templates available for those preferring ready-made solutions.
How much money do I need to start?
Minimum $50-100 for trading, plus ~$10 for gas fees. Suggested starting range is $100-500 while learning. See Capital Allocation Guidance in Getting Started for detailed recommendations.
Is COD3X custodial?
No. Fully non-custodial. You retain control of private keys. Platform cannot access or move your funds.
What wallets are supported?
Moon wallet (recommended for new users) allows email signup. Most EVM-compatible wallets work: MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect, and others.
What trading venues are supported?
COD3X executes on Hyperliquid, a purpose-built L1 for perpetual futures. ~200ms finality, 100+ pairs, up to 50x leverage.
What AI models are available?
The full catalog on OpenRouter.ai. Model selection involves tradeoffs between cost, reasoning quality, and response speed.
Can I use COD3X just for analysis without trading?
Yes. Configure agent for analysis-only mode. Receive recommendations without automatic execution.
How does leverage work?
Leverage multiplies position size relative to collateral. 10x leverage on $100 collateral = $1,000 position. Both gains and losses are magnified. Higher leverage increases liquidation risk.
What is liquidation?
Forced closure of position when margin falls below maintenance requirement. With 10x leverage, approximately 10% adverse move triggers liquidation. Always set stop-losses above liquidation price.
What are funding rates?
Periodic payments (every 8 hours) between longs and shorts to keep perp price aligned with spot. Positive funding: longs pay shorts. Negative: shorts pay longs. Can significantly impact profitability of longer-term positions.
How much does it cost to run an agent?
Depends on AI model and task frequency. Credit packs range from $10 (1,000 credits) to $450 (50,000 credits). CDX stakers receive 10-30% discounts.
What do credits pay for?
AI compute: market analysis, trade decisions, position monitoring, report generation. Each operation consumes credits based on model cost and complexity.
How do I know when credits are low?
Configure low-balance alerts in Settings. Dashboard shows current balance. Agent stops operating when credits exhausted.
Can I get a refund on credits?
Credits are non-refundable. Start with smaller packs to estimate usage before buying larger amounts.
Is my trading fully automated?
Yes, once activated, your agent trades 24/7 based on your configuration.
Can I pause my agent?
Yes, toggle the activation switch in Settings. Existing positions remain open until manually closed.
What if my agent makes a bad trade?
Stop losses limit downside. Review settings and adjust risk parameters. You can always override or close positions manually.
Can I lose more than I deposit?
No. Positions are liquidated before losses exceed margin (no negative balance protection).
Can I have multiple agents?
Yes, create additional agents from the Agents page. Each agent can have its own strategy and wallet.
How do I withdraw profits?
Use Portfolio > Withdraw to send tokens to external address. Ensure you leave sufficient funds for gas and any open positions.
What happens when credits run out?
Agent pauses until credits are purchased. Existing positions remain open but are not actively managed.
