Staking CDX is how you earn your share of COD3X platform profit. Here's what you need to get started.

Go to Staking
Navigate to Settings → Staking in the COD3X app, or access the dedicated Staking page from the sidebar.
Enter Amount
Enter how much CDX you want to stake. Minimum is 5,000 CDX. Higher amounts unlock better tier benefits.
Confirm
Approve the transaction in your wallet. Takes about 2 seconds on Base. Your benefits activate immediately.
Once your transaction confirms, three things happen:
- Benefits activate immediately. Your tier discount applies to your next credit purchase.
- Maturity clock starts. Your maturity multiplier (M) begins building toward 1.5x over 12 months. Your stake scaler (S) is determined by how much you stake.
- Yield accrues continuously. Your share of platform profit accumulates and can be claimed anytime.
Your adjusted rewards are determined by two multipliers that work together:
M = Maturity multiplier (time-based) · S = Stake scaler (size-based)
Maturity Multiplier (M)
Builds gradually over 12 months following a sigmoid curve. The longer you stake, the higher your multiplier. Grows slowly at first, accelerates mid-term, and plateaus near maximum.

Stake Scaler (S)
A compressed logarithmic curve that rewards larger stakes. Below 5,000 CDX you receive a 0.9x penalty. The scaler saturates at 1.5x when you stake 1,000,000 CDX.

What Builds Maturity
- Time staked (automatic, continuous)
- Each token tracks its own maturity independently
- Claiming yield does not reset your maturity
What Resets Maturity
- Initiating a withdrawal (even if you cancel it)
- Nothing else resets maturity
Your CDX is never permanently locked. You have full control, with tradeoffs to consider.
Adding More CDX
You can add to your stake anytime. Each token tracks its own maturity, so new tokens start at 1.0x while your existing tokens keep their maturity. Your effective multiplier is weighted across all staked tokens. If your new total crosses a tier threshold, you get the higher tier benefits immediately.
Claiming Yield
Claim your accrued USDC anytime. No cooldown, no maturity impact. Gas cost is minimal (~$0.10).
Withdrawing CDX
You can withdraw anytime, but there are tradeoffs:
- 7-day cooldown period before CDX returns to your wallet
- Maturity resets to 1.0x when you initiate withdrawal
- Canceling the withdrawal does not restore maturity
- If you drop below 5,000 CDX, you lose credit discounts and OPERATOR features but still earn yield
Each staking position is wrapped in a transferable NFT. The NFT carries your maturity multiplier with it — meaning mature positions carry a premium, since the buyer gets immediate access to higher yield without waiting 12 months.
